Background
For the past decade, I’ve worked across a wide variety of visual media, creating pieces which tap into the emotions of the people that interact with and experience them.
CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY
I like to make playful experiences for people to feel like artists themselves.
Particle is an interactive tabletop experience controlled by motion-tracked spheres. Made with Kinect, Arduino, Unity, and Touchdesigner, exhibited at ITP.
Experiments in TouchDesigner and tracking using a Kinect.
My goal is to make generative and interactive work feel like art, to feel almost painterly.
Facial tracking demo developed in Open Frameworks.
Experiments in 360/ VR videos made in Unreal.
Meet Niclone: my digital twin. I’m currently building a world in Unreal for my metahuman to explore and make art within.
MUSIC VIDEOS
I've been lucky to direct and animate music videos and visualizers for artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Homeshake, Bag Raiders, Oneohtrix Point Never, and many others. I was even contracted to create a VR music video for Pink Floyd. Sadly, it too lives on the Dark Side of the Moon.

ANIMATION
My motion work spans 3D, 2D, Unreal, TouchDesigner, Cinema4D, AI, et cetera— no matter the tool, I like to create ambient worlds that people can lose themselves in.
ML experiments with Neural Style Transfer and Next Frame Prediction using my animations as seeds.
Generative patches developed in TouchDesigner.
Commissioned animations for It’s Nice That + Adobe, paying tribute to iconic female artists Georgia O’Keefe, Lisa Frank, Suzan Pitt, Yayoi Kusama, and Martha Rosler.
Cosmic generative explorations using TouchDesigner.
I was commissioned to create two iconic MTV logo ident animations. They featured custom sound by Yaeji and Benedek, and aired on MTV channels internationally.
ILLUSTRATION
The roots of my visual style began with explorations in freelance illustration work. Throughout the years, I’ve created pieces for The New York Times, Medium, Bloomberg, Pitchfork, Topic, Vice, and others.
ALBUM COVERS
Album covers for friends and famous bands alike, I was able to work with storied independent labels like Stones Throw, Beats In Space, Leaving Records, and Dark Entries.
DESIGN
At both Pitchfork and Bandcamp, I worked alongside developers to design interactive pieces to bring readers closer to the music they love. Spending years of my early career as a visual, UI/ UX designer - I learned the value of design as a system.
At Bandcamp, I was able to redesign their editorial site and build a series of recurring features.
SPEAKING + TEACHING
Past speaking and teaching engagements include It's Nice That, Creative Mornings, Pratt, NYU, SVA, and Wix Academy. I'm passionate about engaging students' most unique interests and strengths, helping to nurture what will make their work resonant and impactful.
